Herbal Remedies?

Have been dealing with MSK for 5 years now. Last scan showed at least 3 5mm stones. Doctor wants to "blast them." Been through this procedure before, very painful.
Has anyone tried any of the herbs and other natural remedies advertised on any of these sites that promise to "break down kidney stones naturally?" Really getting frustrated. I stick to kidney stone diet, 75oz of h20 a day, lemonaid, etc. Stones are not calcium, they are acidic.

Help?!

It must be frustrating to have kidney stones again. If you need to have lithotripsy to break up kidney stones, ask your doctor whether it's less painful to be in water when you have lithotripsy or lying on a pillow. Also, ask if there's any medication that you can take prior to or following the procedure to help reduce the pain.

Here's an article about kidney stones from Mayo Clinic. I suspect the treatments and prevention strategies offered in it are more reliable than herbal remedies offered over the Internet.
