Hello im a patient of IGA Nephropthy they had me on imuran but have been changed to Endoxana are there any of yous on this med? they said its a 6 month course. reports welcome.

Endoxana is a brand name for cyclophosphamide. Here's a patient education fact sheet on this drug which is also used to treat certain cancers:

Here's another description for cyclophosphamide which states describes uses and side effects, including kidney failure:

Here's an article on IgA nephropathy that states that treatment can include cyclophosphamide, naming Cytoxan (brand name). Both Cytoxan and Endoxana are brand names for cyclophosphamide. From what I can tell, Endoxana is available in the U.K.

I'd ask your doctor or pharmacist why you were switched from Imuran to Endoxana and make sure you know what symptoms you should report and what you should do to protect your kidneys while you're taking it.

its a suppressioned for my emune system all the other suppressions apart from emuran made me throw up. thay said ill be put back on emuran in 6 months time docs are keepin a close eye on me wile im on this med having blood tests ones a week while im on it. doctor didnt realy want to give me it but he said he was running out of options. just see how it goes i guess.
