Question Stopping Dialasis

I have an elderly friend who is in total shut down and is dependent on dialasis. He is considering stopping treatment. We cannot get a straight answer on what to expect in the dying processes. How long, what kind of pain to expect, etc. Any information would be appreciated.

The National Kidney Foundation has an excellent booklet on what to expect when you stop dialysis. You can download it here: http://www.kidney.org/atoz/atozcopy....opDialysis.pdf
