Bulletin Board Rules

The Life Options Rehabilitation Patient Community bulletin board is designed to assist sharing kidney-related information. It is a tool for people living with kidney disease, as well as family members and friends of people living with kidney disease. Patients, family members, and friends should feel free to post news and information about up-coming events or initiatives, as well as ask questions and network with colleagues.

Please do not post commercial endorsements, product information, treatment advice, political statements, or requests for donations.

Life Options cannot monitor this bulletin board 24 hours a day, and is not responsible for the contents, accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any messages posted. Views expressed by message authors are not necessarily those of Life Options. If you feel that a posted message is objectionable, please e-mail us immediately at forum@lifeoptions.org. Life Options can and will remove objectionable messages. Message removal is a manual process and may not occur immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, profane, threatening, sexually exploitable, invasive of a person's privacy, or that otherwise violates any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.

Although Life Options does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, Life Options reserves the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Life Options, PlusScripts (the makers of the bulletin board software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
