Default I have a question about medicine side effects

I am currently on steroids for my kidney, and water pills (lasix) to fight swelling in my legs, i was put on a water pill primer recently and some cramping has started. anyone else have this happen to them? when i yawn my chin cramps half the time.

If I were you, I'd call with my doctor right away and explain your symptoms. You may need to have a blood test to see if your diuretic (water pill) is removing too much potassium from your blood. Medline Plus (www.medlineplus.gov) reports the following symptoms of too low potassium with use of diuretics: "Dryness of mouth; increased thirst; irregular heartbeat; mood or mental changes; muscle cramps or pain; nausea or vomiting; unusual tiredness or weakness; weak pulse."

My friend tried lasix a few months back and he had side effects like constipation and some rashes. Apart from this, he didn't had any other problems. But yes, I have heard that muscle cramps is also one of the side effect of this drug.
