Default my kidney burns the hell out of my back!!!

I think that my right kidney is what's causing this feeling. It feels like I'm being burned from a branding iron every so seconds of everyday. It has caused me to take the rest of the month off work because I just can't work under these conditions. I cry every day over this.

If you haven't seen a doctor, you should. Here's information from MedlinePlus, a government website, about back pain with possible causes, treatments, questions the doctor may ask, etc.
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/e...cle/003108.htm

There can be many reasons for back pain, but you should not suffer like you are.

Josephine, I suggest that you get a complete physical, with the lab tests that Beth suggested. If that doesn't turn up anything, you may want to ask for a consult with a pain specialist, particularly since your pain has gone on for so long.

Have you ever had an injury of any type to the area where you are now having pain? There is a condition called "reflex sympathetic dystrophy" (RSD) which is a pain syndrome that can occur after an injury--even one as simple as a pulled muscle. It creates a feedback loop between the nerves & brain that leads to pain that can get worse over time. This condition can be treated by a specialist.
