Default Just diagnosed with Fibrillary Glomerulonephritis

I've just been diagnosed with Fibrillary Glomeronephritis. I'm scared to death. I can't find much info on the net about this. I really don't know what im in for...my prognosis.

My nephrologist is getting second opinions for me right now. She is consulting with two pathologists. And other colleages.

When she first gave me the dx, she told me of only one treatment option. She refered to them as "the big guns". A medication that is used in chemo, and steroids. I agreed to it, then beofre the treatment she felt like she should make sure my dx is 100%. I feel this dr has my best interest in mind. And I appriciate her effert in my heatlhcare.

But, I'm still left confused on what I really have, and what I am in for...the long run.

Anyone out there with this dx? Or have you heard of it? I'd love to have any information about his dx.

Thanks!
Trish
