Hi all im Thomas im 23 & from dublin Ireland i have IGA Nephropathy for the past 12 months which they think was a result of long term xtc abuse but thats there opinion not fact im also diabetic but well controled.

Hi Thomas,

I'm sorry to hear about your IGA nephropathy. I'd never heard of a connection with Ecstasy, but there is actually a paper in the medical literature that describes a case where 2 people got kidney transplants from the same donor, who had been 21 years old. Both kidneys failed in the first week, and the authors believe it was because the donor used Ecstasy, although they can't prove it.
