The staff are very people oriented, knowledgeable about death and the dying process, and understand how it affects the patient and his/her loved ones. I'd suggest that you ask your father's doctor to make a referral to the local hospice agency. The social worker at your father's clinic may know which agency is experienced working with people on dialysis and their families. Also, hospice is a good resource to help families after the death of a loved one deal with the loss. You can find more about hospice on the web site for the Hospice Foundation of America.
